It gives us immense pleasure to organise the First Inter Society Cricket Tournament for New Gurugram societies in April’2018. The objective of the tournament is to initiate sporting activities within the newly developed societies and come together as one voice for the development of New Gurugram.

All matches to have a unique theme of “एक मुद्दा, एक मैच” highlighting concerns of residents of New Gurugram.

  1. The tournament matches will be played on Saturdays & Sundays from 21-April-2018 and ends on 13-May-2018
  2.  Last date for submitting the forms along with player details and fee is 31 March 2018
  3. Team Name, Verification Documents with entry fees must be submitted by 31st March 2018
  4. Team squad will be of 18 players and playing 11 in all matches should be from that squad only
  5. Only the current residents (owners / teanents) who are residing in the respective residential societies can participate as players
  6. Photograph with club card or any resident proof to be submitted for qualification in tournament
  7. All efforts must be towards making all the team players a registered member of DXP Welfare Association
  8. Membership of DXPWA is not chargable, if someone wants to donate for the cause they may do so

Terms and Conditions:

  1. Keeper gloves are optional
  2. There will be No LBW and Leg Bye
  3. Total Team Players in each team shall be 18
  4. Medical kit shall be available at site of all matches
  5. First 5 overs for each match shall be of power play
  6. Red orange FLX Ball is finalize for complete tournament
  7. Players T-shirt can be of any color (avoid red shade due to ball color)
  8. The League matche shall be of 15 overs with 5 bowlers with 3 overs per bowler
  9. Umpire decision would be considered as final during the match and team players has to respect the same
  10. In case of tie, there will be super over. In case of same points in group, team with better runrate will proceed to next round
  11. Captain of each team shall be completely responsibe for his team players and they must ensure the team players are current resident of their society
  12. Incase there are more than 1 team from same society of same sector then the total number of participating teams can not exceed 2 from same residential society
  13. Incase there are 2 teams from same society then the 1st match shall be between the same team
  14. Team Captain must ensure that there are no common players among both the teams of same society, common players in both team of same society are not allowed and would lead to disqualification of team from the tournament
  15. Team should not have any player who is from facility management or support staff working inside society else team shall be disqualified
  16. Entry Registration Fees for each first team is 1800 INR and for 2d Team from same society the Entry Registration Fees is 2500 INR
  17. The Cricket Match would start from 21-April 2018 onwards and shall be scheduled for 22nd, 28th 29th April 2018, 5th & 6th May 2018 along with the Grande Finale on 13th May 2018.
  18. Total participating teams can not exceed 18 for the tournament
  19. Incase the total teams participation requests are more than 18 then first preference shall be given to individual society teams to encourage more societies to participate
  20. The decision by DXP Welfare Association shall be final and all teams, team players and orginasing team needs to abide by the guidelines
  21. All players must follow the code of conduct and must be display discipline
